A good friend of mine was best friends with Tony, Bobby Martinez, Bobby sends me pictures all the time of knives he has just received. This was the batch he got last week. Tony was a truly amazing knife maker.
Ps
It wasn't due to the covid.

Currently, Google shows no evidence of this being true. Standing by for further developments.

Lol. Didn't know Google was the authority on the subject.
Karen found him unresponsive this morning. Preliminary findings are a heart attack.

I purchased 2 Case/Bose knives yesterday in memorial. A big loss for the knifing community but he will be forever remembered. ::pray::

A real loss to the knife world. I only met him a handful of times, but he was always very humble and kind.

May he rest with the LORD, met him 3 times, each time I would talk his ear off. He would generally let me play with the pocket knives he had on hand. I remember a warren-cliff stag with threaded bolsters. I alway wished he would just say, go ahead take it lol ::facepalm::

A loss for the knife community. He was a pioneer in many respects. RIP.

Oh, that is sad.

Met him two or three times. Nice man and a very skilled artist.

The Lord must have needed a cutler and He went for one of the very best. Tony will be dearly missed by the entire knife community; Godspeed to his family across the globe.

I had never met the man but have been a big admirer of his work. I had also never heard of Wilfred, Indiana but now plan on taking a day trip there this summer. RIP to a legend.
