Remington Bullet knives Real or Fake

Two knives. What do you guys think? Real or Fake?

Unquestionably fake. The knife with the bullet shield is a gunstock pattern. The original bullets did not include a gunstock pattern. The bullet shield is wrong. The tang stamps are not authentic. The bone is very wrong. It is a very egregious fake.

Did Remington make any Gunstock patterns? Can’t seem to find any examples.

I'm not an expert, but:

The hafting on the handles is crude, so is the jigging. Shield is poorly placed. Blades obviously cold-stamped. I've seen knives made in Pak E. Stan of better quality.

The pictures are a little fuzzy, but it looks like the tang on that Toothpick was sanded heavily before it was stamped. Someone was probably trying to remove the original name.

Remington made a gunstock pattern. R683, R684, R685. This knife isn't one of them.
If you search those numbers you should be able to see all three.
