A little help IDing Stag 6" fullered blade 11" OAL

The KA-BAR brand originated as a trademark of the Tidioute Cutlery Company. Tidioute was later taken over & renamed the Union Cutlery Company which continued making the brand until Union eventually adopted it as the company name in 1952. Cutco Corporation later acquired the company in 1996.

A little help IDing Stag 6" fullered blade 11" OAL

As per the title, this Kabar is 11" OAL, 6" fullered blade, stag handle. I know it is 1953 to 1967 since it has an italicized Kabar stamp with no model number. I think the sheath is typical mid to late 1950s.

I wish it were mine. Posting for a friend who wants to know more about it than I can provide. After I posted it up, I remembered that Gene was leaving for a 2 week fishing trip. So here I sits waiting kinda patiently for the big fisherman to return.
