That would be an 8151 L...however it is a 6151 L that has been rehandled in pearl. Case never put shields on pearl handled knives in the Tested era.

Ah, that makes sense, so they did all the work of adding the shield but shouldn't have. I sold this knife years ago but always wondered about it. The rehandle was well done.

It also appears that the pearl handles are "too minty" for the knife given that it has some significant use.

looks nice, is the pat stamp, double stamped ? Thats a nice knife i had a bone one just like it. i just listed a picture in the case section.
