"Sausage Knives/Melon Testers"

Post by Ridgegrass »

Had a lot of these over the years. They always seem to be in good shape. Guess they're hard to carry so they don't get a ton of use. Can't say I've ever seen one without some kind of advertising or "compliment".
TOP: 4-1/2" Schrade, swell-center, 2 blade, reverse tang stamped: SS700, "STAINLESS STEEL" and a 5-7/8" Schrade single

BOTTOM: 3 Colonials, 5-7/8"
MIDDLE: Reverse of Colonials, These two are mint, never resharpened and exactly alike. J.O'.

There are so many variations, but that's the perfect one. Plain edge, serrated, and does it have a fork? No problem, that one's got it all!

Very nice collection!

The one with the fork at the end of the blade is very unusual. You'll often see that with certain kitchen knives, but I've never seen it on a folder.

Nice knives Sir. This style of knife doesn’t seem to popular. You have some names of Companies that are well known. My wife and I actually use a couple we have in the kitchen, they work real nice on fruit and bagels . Have a good one.
