Unusual Case 6207?

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Unusual Case 6207?

Post by herbva »

I will be the first to admit that I'm not at all up on recent Case knives, nor do I have much interest in them. But, this one caught my eye on "the bay" and is one of my favorite patterns. Did Case really make this and what they call it? The jigging (if you can call this type of engraving "jigging") and shield look rather odd to me for a Case. I think the tang stamp may be 2002? Thanks.

Going out on a limb here, but that looks like a SFO that OCC( Orange County Choppers ) had done for a special event. The shield supposed to be a chopper figure , the handles engraving represents flames.
Not sure it’s this exact knife, but remember them having Case pocket knife giveaways.

I would love to find an OCC Mini-Trapper. That would be the cat's meow. HaChaCahCha. ::tu::

Edit: OK, I did find one but they want $100 for it. ::uc::

Herb, may know someone who has a couple, he owns the Harley Dealership here ,can ask Jerry if he’d sell one and how much. Not a Case Collector and had a chance to buy them and passed some years ago, but he bought a bunch of them for the HD employees at his store.can make some calls if interested?

Heres another example of one of the oCc mini trappers in orange bone. These come with a tin also.

Skip (New_Windsor_NY) posted some photos on the "Mini TrapPER DIEM" thread of four of these he recently acquired with the tins. His were made in 2004 & 2005, so this model has been around for a few years.
