1 million dollar knife, seriously?

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

Saw this knife this morning on EBay. I’m guessing the seller knows absolutely nothing about knives, Frost Cutlery, or Seki Japan. I have bought and sold the fixed blade dagger version of this knife a few times, not the Frost version but Wragg version. I didn’t ask enough for mine.

Has to be a mistake. It is only $28 for the postage, you would fly over and pick it up yourself if you paid that much.

Bet you could low-ball him at half price and he'd take it! OH

He says the knife will increase in value. I should hit the buy it now based on that info.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

The seller shows a plastic knife stand in some of the pictures but said it is not included with the knife. I think that’s a real deal breaker.

Darn I didn't read the fine print. That is a deal breaker. Forget the Buy It Now then.

His wife told him to get rid of all that crap so he told her he put it on eBay but it just isn't selling.

That’s funny Jerry, I will have to remember that strategy in the future.
I saw that the stand wasn’t included, what a cheapskate. You’d think someone that can afford to buy this and resell it could throw the stand in for free.

EBay is kinda like going to the Arkansas State Fair - there’s no telling what you might see!

Personally I wouldn't turn any of his "stuff" down if it was given to me but I didn't see a thing in his listings that I would buy. None of his "stuff" compares to an old Case, Queen or Camillus pocket knife. :)

Somehow Mark you always seem to find the crazies! ::woot:: ::tease:: ::cb:: You should introduce this guy to apes2647/arshia2002, they have plenty in common, both crooks! His price is about 4 zeros too many, AT BEST! I'm really starting to believe that some of these guys think they can quickly cash-in on the current knife collecting frenzy, since more people everyday are buying and collecting knives, and all they have to do is browse arizonacustomknives to get an idea of how much some knives are selling for. Remember my question a couple days ago about the Loveless bowie, same thing here but different answer. It only takes ONE guy with more money than brains, and BINGO, instant millionaire! 8)

David! Where did you see these other items? When I clicked-on "other items for sale" 20 listings come up with prices from $10.-$100., and NO swords. Just curious! 8)

Rofl. I was wondering if you’d see that! You’d know better than most of us. You might contact that guy about doing a sales training for your company.

Looks like all the high dollar items have been ended. I wonder if Ebay did it or the seller did it? The thought crossed my mind that maybe this is a way of laundering or transferring money? I went through anti-money laundering training every year when I was working. We handled other people’s money and investments and were trained on what to look out for. Suspicious activity is high on the list. But I wouldn’t have a clue how this would work on Ebay, but if there is a way, I am sure criminals are already doing it and Ebay is policing for it.
