Can we list a knife on the forum?

Post by Porky1016 »

Selling on this website seems complicated or out of possibilities. Is it possible to list on the forum page? I am looking for another source to list them. Ebay has so many fees. Facebook is shutting down knife sales so I'm running out of places. Any suggestions?

You can open a store or it depends on your subscription level.

It’s pretty easy to sell on AAPK. You just need to buy a premium subscription. You can find details by clicking on “Support AAPK” on the upper right of this page. Then list what you have to sell in the Knife Commerce forum here.

If you have a lot of knives to sell, more than buying a premium subscription allows, you can explore setting up an AAPK Member a Store. That’s a little more complicated, and you pay AAPK a percentage of your gross sales.

Just got the premium membership. Now list some on this forum? I'm just going to list a couple to see how it goes and try not to make mistakes.

List them in the Knives for Sale or Trade forum. viewforum.php?f=31 It may take a day or so for Bryan (site owner) to get your membership processed and set up. After that you should be able to post in the Knife Commerce forums.

Probably a good idea to brush up your skills at sending and reading PMs (private messages) since most transactions are conducted that way after your potential buyer sees your selling post. viewtopic.php?f=98&t=58176

Posting a knife for sale in the forum Ken links to above is an easy way to sell knives. Post good pictures and give an accurate description including any 'issues' the knife might have and ask a reasonable price and you will get some sales. They key here is price. If you price high it is unlikely to sell.

And also be willing to entertain reasonable offers. ::nod::
