Shapleigh and unknown, who made this pair?

Any help with who made these ? They are same ,size Same fishtail and guard? Red one is Shapleigh DE and ??& R Co. Over Utica , N.Y. Can’t seem to find any other marks other than tang stamp. Handle is 3&3/4 long ,blade 3 inches.thanks

Probably UK&R Utica NY - Union Knife & Razor. Not aware they made knives Shapleigh but Shapleigh contracted with many calories so could be.

UK&R stands for Utica Knife and Razor. Ken, maybe auto-correct got you? UK&R was a different company than Utica Cutlery Co. I am not sure UK&R actually made knives, most I have seen were contract knives made in Czechoslavakia or Germany, and some made by Utica Cut Co and Union Cut Co/KA-BAR. Those UK&R knives made overseas are marked as such, I am thinking the OP knives were likely made by Utica Cut.
