Goins shows a Canasota Knife Co N.Y., 1875-1895, as does the Ritchie & Stewart 5th edition.

I just Googled this and my spelling was correct.

jmpaige, now that the tang stamp is identified, show us the rest of the knife, don't keep us in suspense! ::poke:: :)

I have posted the picture, sorry it took so long the knives belong to my boss and stay at the office and today is my first day back in since posting the message. Thanks for all the help by the way.

That is an interesting "combination tool". I checked up on Canasota Knife Company,it mentioned button hooks and that opened to another world of button hooks being collected. Always finding something new to wonder about or to lust after here on AAPK.
