38 Years
Celebrating 38 years with my one and only wife!
I met Becky back in the early fall of 1981. We were both in the Air Force stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio.
I knew her three weeks when I asked her to marry me.
We got married April 7th the following year.
I was only 19 when we got married! Not the advice I would give to anyone!
But I knew. I had always believed my Lord and Father would let me know when the right one came along, and He did.
Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the LORD.
She has been and is a wonderful gift. A mighty woman of God... I couldn't ask for more.
I am a very blessed man.

I was wiser and waited about 6 weeks before asking my girlfriend to be my wife. Happy for you and her. You found a good thing indeed. No picture?

Congrats, Steve! I'd suggest a nice dinner out BUT that doesn't seem to be an option right now.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Thanks everyone!
Becky's RA is flaring up a bit right now. When she's feeling better, I'll get an aged porterhouse and throw it on the grill. Something we both love!!1967redrider wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 11:05 pm Congrats, Steve! I'd suggest a nice dinner out BUT that doesn't seem to be an option right now.

Congrats Steve, that’s fantastic. Great Proverb to quote.

It’s been 46 years for me and Elaine. I was 20 when we got married and she was 18. I wouldn’t trade those 46 years for anything!
