Does anyone have an idea on who may have made this sleeveboard whittler?
The only markings are on the mark side tang.

Goins lists this brand but doesn't say who made knives for them. I doubt they made their own.

Picture from Sargent's 2nd Edition, Page 80, but yours looks like a spear blade.

Nice old whittler and great patina on the bone. I am a fan of hardware knives, no clue on answering your question though

Not at all sure Case was the only company that used that shield.

If it had a clip blade, at 3 5/8" closed, I think we would have proof positive, but . . . ::shrug::
