Too much oil!

Post by Old Folder »

Looking for suggestions as to cleaning a new folder that seems to have been dropped in oil prior to shipping. After wiping it down numerous times, it magically reappears.
This is the folder I am referring too.

I had one like that one time Dan and the only thing I did was wiped it off the best I could and let it set several days on my workbench. Finally the oil had dried enough that you didn't notice it anymore.

Man you are sitting on gold and don't even know it. Ever heard of weeping statues that appear to cry? Well looks like you've got a weeping knife that's got a never ending supply of oil. Call the local news channel and start charging a few dollars for people to get their miraculous healing oil.

Thanks David, it's currently draining in the garage now.

RevolverGuy, perhaps I should call "Shell" first. I have more trust in the Oil Companies than the media.

As long as it's weeping oil you shouldn't have any problems with rust and that's a plus.
