Anyone Recognize This Display

Post by Paladin »

This is a counter top display acquired by a friend and there seem to be no ID on it. Anyone recognize the design here?

It could be a Winchester case, as here is one of similar construction that was on eBay several years ago. Perhaps the company name was on a separate piece that became separated.

Hard to say for sure because the company that made these cases likely used the tag "Quality Pocket Knives" on all their cases and then added the name of the knife company that contracted with them.

Hey Ray;
If your friend could give you a "Close-Up" picture of the numbers within the knife case, it could possibly provide a hint of the knives that were originally displayed?
The picture will not enlarge when I click it.
It's always important to know what you don't know.

He took the photo and likely with a phone, thus no enlargement I recon. I'll ask for some close ups.

hey guys,

mine is also a Winchester display after seeing the pic of the one on this thread i checked mine and it has the WINCHESTER wrote in the same place just real faint i took a pic and will post shortly. the storage drawer is in tact and works fine! i love how you open that drawer ( there is a finger slot for the display tray once you lift up on the tray then the drawer is released and slightly slides out so you can pull it the rest of the way)! the only issues with it besides being covered in dust is there is a crack in tue top right corner of the glass and i havent got the key but its unlocked and there is a good possibility i will have the key or keys shortly! i will post some pics was wondering if someone after looking at photos could help me with a value
