Any interesting knife places in Madison Wisconsin?

Post by danno50 »

I am in Madison WI for the next two weeks. I am mostly interested in older knives, so any suggestions for antique stores, pawn shops, flea markets etc in the immediate area? I do also need a new Case yellow peanut, so would also welcome suggestions for regular knife stores.

I live in Madison their is a antique mall called Maple Bluff I haven’t been for a few months but usually a few dealer booths have some decent vintage knives. Not much for a regular knife store though unless you are looking at kitchen knives. Dorn hardware on Verona road near the belt line has a great selection of Victorinox knives...can’t remember if they still stock Case kinda thinking no if I remember correctly. Any other questions about Mad City shoot me a MSG.

Thanks for the reply, Drukai. I visited the Odana Antique mall yesterday. Quite a few fixed blades, but pretty shy on vintage pocket knives. I did pick up an IKCo, shell handled boy's knife, just to say I bought a knife. Will try the Maple Bluff mall.
