What is Your Latest Old Camillus? (pre-1960)

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

A Camillus WW1 rope knife made for export 1915-16. Doesn't appear to have been used, just laid around all these years.

Doesn't it make you wonder what circumstances have to come into alignment for something like this to "just lay around" for over 100 years. Great find Bob.

Thank you Vit.

I found another older camillus. Long line 67 stockman pattern (with no number stamped) and shieldless dark rogers bone. It has good snap, tight and full blades, all that stuff. Nice knife.
