Help Appreciated

Post by BWT »

No maker on this that I can find. Does have PATENT just below the nail pull. Well made with half stops and snap, metal handle, just pulls apart. I have never seen one before but I’m sure someone can help me out with that, just a hobo maybe?

Looks like a cool old soldier Bill ::tu:: ::tu:: ... I’m not knowledgeable at all in hobo or slot knives... I do have a very old 1820s Sheffield quill with Patent on tang but includes another name as well.. I think Patent meant it was actually recognized as a patented knife if that helps at all ..

Thanks Lee,so slot is another name for it as well ::handshake:: I went over it really good with a magnifying glass and couldn't see anything that looks like it could have been any kind of markings at all..
