Case 25 cents knife
How can I get this thing authenticated? I’ve had it 20 years and I bought it from a 90 year old man. What’s amazing is everyone wants to buy it so they can show what a fake is. Come on people.

I guess it could be used as an example of what an authentic one is, to expose the fakes that don’t look like it. As for how to get it authenticated, you now have a post here from the guy that write the book. You could also send it to Tony Foster who is a noted well regarded Case authority, and ask him for a written appraisal. He doesn’t do appraisals for free though.Roland Beaulieu wrote:9F365769-5AF9-46A2-B0EA-1E0D55349889.jpegHow can I get this thing authenticated? When you figure out what you want for it you can list it for sale here (the place for that is the "Knife Commerce” forum) but you need to buy a premium subscription membership to do so. You can find out about that by clicking on “Support AAPK” on the upper right side of the screen.

The attached photo is from a 2008 Knives & Razors value guide by Jim Sargent. It shows your knife, 6106 1920-1940, with a mint value of $900.00. I am not saying that is the value, just showing what is in the book. Hope this helps a little.

I don’t know the true value but my wife does a lot on EBay so I’m just going to let her put it up for auction and it brings what it brings.Mumbleypeg wrote:When you figure out what you want for it you can list it for sale here (the place for that is the "Knife Commerce” forum) but you need to buy a premium subscription membership to do so. Seems to be a reasonable solution. Hope you get a lot for it.

Re: Case 25 cents knife
It needs to be properly listed on Ebay with high quality, detailed photos that will expand when clicked.
By properly listed, I mean in the correct category to be seen by those that would have the highest level of interest in it.
That would be under COLLECTIBLES - KNIVES and RAZORS - VINTAGE FOLDING KNIVES.
Good luck.
