In a small village in Romania in a region once known as Transylvania works a lone
knife maker, a slight glow of the orange color coals lights his window in his workshop.
Years past, one might not forge at night as Vlad the Impaler (The real Dracula) was
always stalking the small villages for more victims.
But Helize, an avid AAPK member from this region, dare pound glowing steel at night for a friend
across the great ocean in the USA that has humbly commissioned one of his newest creations.
Bored from a solid piece of 5160 steel, he pounds on, not worried of dangers from the past.
When I saw Csizmar post his newest offering months back, I contacted him to ask if he would
be so gracious to make a 2nd Spear / Knife for me...he accepted my offer and the pics below
shows his talent. I knew from sheaths he has shown on AAPK in the past he had a 2nd talent
as a Custom leather smith. I asked him if he could tool a knife & spear on the sheath to hint at the contents within.
Below is a pic of his outstanding work I just recieved in the mail, my new Bushcraft knife for the mountains
in Arizona. If I run out of ammo, I will still have a formidable weapon hanging on my side

Very cool knife stagman.
I bet ya can't wait to take it out into the wilds. You can use it to both cut down and reduce the end of a sapling to a taper to fashion a spear. If I had that knife here in my neck of the woods I'd be eyeing up some straight hickory or iron wood right away to fall to that blade.
I pretty much love every knife Helize post here. You picked a heck of a nice one.

Re: Spear Knife from Transylvania
Neat knife and neat story. He is a very creative knife maker, a true artist, yet he is humble and his prices are most reasonable.
Good for you Stagman to have supported this fine fellow.
