Case XX 6344 Redbone
I picked this Case knife up yesterday. It has very dark deep red bone. I think it is true red bone. It has steel liners and pins. Did they do alot of steel pins and liners in the XX era?

Liners and pins are nickel silver, not steel.

woodwalker,
I'm not sure but looking at the pictures of your 6344, it appears to have "jimping" on the liners or is that my old eyes or something to do with the picture? I noticed it earlier when you 1st posted the 3 Case knives this afternoon.

Hi Treefarmer. Good to hear from you. The picture just makes it look like it. I noticed it too and had to take another look. No jimping. Just photo from my phone. Hope all is well.treefarmer wrote:woodwalker,

Thank you, sir. Everything is good at our place, just wet but a lot of folks suffered a lot of damage this afternoon with the tornados all across the Southeast.
