My Clauss collection
My Clauss collection
Posted the other day regarding Clauss. My interest is that I was born in Elyria, Ohio. Attached pics of my collection . Have been at it for 5 years or so.

Bret, that's impressive. You have some real beauties in there. In 25 years collecting knives, I think I have one or two. ___Dave

Yes, some really fine knives!
Re: My Clauss collection
I don't have any...but those look like some nice knives! Now we need a couple of closeups. Thanks for showing them!

I like the little fixed. Looks to be in the size range I prefer.
I don’t think I’ve seen a mess set in bone before. That’s really nice too!

Nice group! Can we see those with winter bottom bone? I have a 33 whittler and a 27 scout. The whittler has winterbottom covers. Looks like you may have a whittler pattern in your group also?

Pics of the English Lockback. My source tells me it is made by Challenge. I was not aware they made knives for Clauss until now.

I like the stag fixed blade made by Kinfolks. I have the same ones marked Kinfolks, Robeson, and Shapleigh. The hobo or mess knife looks to be a Union Cut Co product and I think the little bird/trout knife was made by Queen.
