Golden Honeycomb Trapper 2254 SS

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Golden Honeycomb Trapper 2254 SS

Post by LeftyKnifeGuy »

Looking at one of these and can't find much info or photos in order to make an offer. What little I did find didn't have the "XX" on a "diamond" shield this one has. The tang stamp puts it in the years 2000-2009 and it has one "x" above Case (pics aren't clear enough to see anything below and can't get them to copy). Handles appear to be delrin. Were any of these bone? Also, from the info I found, every one shows 1/500. Any insight you can give me would be appreciated.

Apparently they were sold at one time on Walmart.com but are no longer available. No sales price was listed. This handle material is black delrin.
