I had one just like it and was told it was made by Camillus. Plus I think it looks like a Camillus made knife. But I am not an expert.

Looks like Camillus to me. Plus the spiral punch usually says Camillus, although I think Utica did make some spiral punches too. Be interested to see what the Camillus experts say.

I’ve always been told they were Camillus. Regardless, it’s a beauty.

I have a couple of them. One has the propeller shield and the other a badge type shield. I was always under the impression they were made by Camillus. The grooved bolster is usually the giveaway.

Thanks so much for your comments on the knife.
It seems like some where in this forum I read that Camillus was the maker of that stamp.

I have two now. They are a pretty neat knife.

With two kids I probably don't need any more.

Definitely Camillus and made for Sears. Likely had a "Sta-Sharp" etch which is top of the line Sears branding and high quality. The 5 blade Cattle is a great find, and you have 2 ! I have never seen an unused one. The Sears sold knives "Craftsman" (includes Sta-Sharp) seem to have always been used often heavily. I think because most of their customers buy Craftsman tools were in fact crafts men who used tools daily.
The High Carbon Steel Sta-Sharp knives make for great collecting.
I recently was outbid for a 5 blade cattle. Bottom fishers only win when other fishers are napping.

Thank you, Roland.

That is a beauty, Cal, thanks for showing it.
It looks like it's in better shape than my two. Someone should snap that up.

Joe, it is my knife. The handle material is brittle and has some cracks but other than that, it's a dandy.
