Help to Identify this Case Folder

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Help to Identify this Case Folder

Post by SlingBlade »

A friend has this Case knife and is considering selling it. He has no idea of a model or worth. I really don't know anything about it, it does have the longtail C on the tang stamp so I'm thinking early 1900's maybe. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Jim

Hard to see tang stamp. Old 61051 “Fishtail” with bow tie guard.

Yep, same pictures too. Slingblade, can you tell us what exactly your friend wants to know about it that wasn't answered in the previous thread? Maybe we can help if we have more specifics.
