Unsure if new fork find is good/bad.

So my old and, formerly rust covered, German beauty is a rescue and a solid SOG, but its plastic. I want some stag on it, even though its in good shape on the handle. :?

There’s no way to see how long the fork handle is, but you’re going to have to cut it at least 3/4” to match the width and then cut it in to flatten it at the tang. Can you lose that much and still have the fork handle end up the right length? The tang of the fork is a lot narrower too so you’re going to have to drill it out to accomadate the knife.
Whatever you decide, pics!

I was thinking that all was well, until the last second, when I noticed the blade move a little. The glue I used is awesome but maybe need to clean it out because it is too airtight in there. I just may let it sit a few days. The PIC blade had a nut on the end and I was trying to get it completely thru the stag but was worried about cracking it and just shortened the tang.

My glue would have never dried so it got cleaned out and epoxied. I made a bunch of cuts on the tang to better hold and it is tight. I'm happy with it

That turned out great. What did you use to stain your antler? I like that color a lot.
