Woodwalker get a chance check out the little imperial push button knife and man you have to see the Robert Klass Kissing Crane Monolith. The little imperial I will probably trade so if you like it let me know. Thanks for commenting on this whittler I really like it. It snaps hard and I like the pattern.woodwalker wrote:I don't know anything about it Ed other than I like it!! Your on a good roll bud!! Just seen your little imperial and your Kissing Crane! Both outstanding pick ups! You been a busy feller. Don't have a little imperial like that. Might figure something out with ya. Got a few things to do tonight but I will holler at ya!Landersknives wrote:Woodwalker get a chance check out the little imperial push button knife and man you have to see the Robert Klass Kissing Crane Monolith. Levine lists Graeff & Schmidt as a USA manufacturer 1940-52 AND as an importer of Henckels knives 1883-c1948. OP knife is a Henckels pattern.

Thanks KJ! I knew there was a reason I liked this knife. I love early Henckels knives. Thank you very much for the information.kootenay joe wrote:Levine lists Graeff & Schmidt as a USA manufacturer 1940-52 AND as an importer of Henckels knives 1883-c1948. OP knife is a Henckels pattern.

Re: Graef & Schmidt pearl whittler
Every G & S knife i have seen has been a Henckels made knife. I have never seen one that was made in USA and i wonder if the info from Levine about G & S manufacturing in USA is correct.
