Pocket worn Abalone

Post by Treejakal »

Does any one have a picture of a pocket worn Abalone? I like my knives when they show a little wear, but don't know that I have seen a worn abalone. I may just keep it as a mint collectible if they look worse for the wear.

AAPK is full of opinions and some of them are full of....... Well, you know. This opinion may be full of shirt but I think that carrying Abalone would cause this pearl like material to pick up micro-scratches and slowly but surely dull that beautiful luminescence's and ruin the subtleties of the colors. I agree. Abalone is softer than mother of pearl and will wear faster than pearl. It is pretty but it is also soft and subject to scratches and it can crack easily if dropped.

How about a pic of the knife in question? Who doesn't like to look at Abalone?
