Do YOU have a CASE XX knife in YOUR pocket today?????

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Really great knives guys, love seeing all the different Cases from through the years! Here is an old XX Barlow that I have had for a long time but never really carried, as I deemed it to be "retired". Well I broke her out of retirement and have been carrying her the last couple days, and wouldn't ya know she is still quite capable of getting the job done! At work, in the garden, around the house, seems happy to be out and about!

Very nice old Barlow, Mike, glad you brought her out of retirement. ::tu:: Plenty of miles left on that HOK.

Late '70s SG63047 and a 61549L from about 20 years later, two generations worth of takes on "smooth green bone."

Those older Barlow's are nice. I'm sure it is a real workhorse.

Most definitely. ::handshake:: This knife was my very first 10-dot and it remains my favorite Case (probably my favorite knife all told).

Broke out the snowshoe again to commemorate the end of summer.

I like the #90 cigar stockman alot ... I have a handful of them, but its tough to find one with good snap on all 3 blades. This is the first one I have that has exceptional snap on all blades and first rate fit and finish. This one has the "deep canyon" jigging - almost as thick as real stag. People that feel modern era Case knives are lacking haven't seen knives like this - granted, they're not all this good, but I'm about as picky as they come, and I can't find a single flaw with this one ...

Actually had two with me today, the Medium Stockman I started out with and the Pen Knife I found in the car midday and put in my watch pocket to make sure it got back in the house at the end of the day. OH

The snowshoe keeps finding its way into my pocket. I put a fresh edge on the sheepsfoot and it is now dangerous!

Still not a buyer of the "Rogers bone" claim, but I think the coloration and jigging pattern that Parker chose for his homage to Rogers on this knife is the best-looking of the ROG knives I've seen from Case. None of them will fool a collector who's handled real Rogers bone, of course.
