KABAR/Union hatchet knife

If your name happens to be J. E. Mapes, then have I got a deal for you. No seriously this KABAR/UNION knife hatchet combo is for sale. It does have some spots on both the knife and hatchet head. The sheath is in good condition, with no cracking of the leather and the stitching is good. The handle locks tightly onto both the knife blade and hatchet head.

Hatchet is tang stamped KA-BAR

Knife is tang stamped UNION Cutlery Co. Olean, NY

The name J. E. Mapes is marked under the flap of the sheath in what looks like Sharpie marker. Also note that the snap to close the ax head part of the sheath is broken off.

JEM initials on end of the knife sheath.

The interchangeable wood handle is in good shape with no wood missing or cracks. Unit overall length is 10 1/4" when in sheath.
