ZAK knife czechoslovakian

Post by Donny Eskridge »

Howdy. I recently came across a knife that says ZAK Czechoslovakia on the blade and was wondering the history of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Donny

Don't know anything about that one but that Germany puts out a lot like that. Usually there is hide on the handle. It is uasually listed as a boot knife or a Jagermesser, a hunting knife. I have also heard them referred to as a knicker knife. ::shrug:: Interesting. ::tu::

Thank you very much. This particular knife was in bad shape with very little hair left on it. I redid the handle. Thanks again, Donny
