I got this knife in with a collection. I have a feeling that it is a "cobbled" knife - real Remington blade in a non-Remington frame.
Would appreciate any input based on the pattern number, as I do not have any Remington reference books.
Just under 2-1/2" closed. Pattern # R6904 stamped.

Re: Need help with Remington Knife ID
Steve , by my book , the the blade stamped R 6904 goes on a 2 1/2 pearl handle Senators Pen knife.
Re: Need help with Remington Knife ID
Looks like it could very well be a J. Salm knife with the Remington blade added. I remember having one nearly identical minus the Remington blade.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
