What is Your Latest Old Camillus? (pre-1960)

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Here is another Camillus fixed blade I am keeping for my Camillus display. This one is a Sword Brand with the Sword Brand stamp on the pile side tang and the four-line Camillus stamp on the mark side tang.

This is the Sword Brand radio knife I posted about earlier.

This is a very pretty Camillus Pony Jack #21 with Rogers bone handles.
There is very little wear on the handles and I don't think it has been used much.

I just found me my first Sword Brand. Somebody tried to sneak it on an airplane (so the seller says). Anyway, on it's way to me now.

This four line sword brand came in today, it's not perfect but there are no issues either. Only the main blade appears to have any loss. Just a nice little knife with chip and crack free pearl. I picked it up for a song.

Just purchased this short line #23 Jack off the bay. Blades are in pretty good shape.
It should clean up nicely.

This one came in recently. Turned out to be a good one after a little cleaning and sharpening. The blades are near full and the bone is good.

Nice punch stockman Paul, ya gotta love that Rogers bone! ::tu::

Mike, I like the 23 pattern. I have one scheduled for new handles soon. I haven't decided on stag or bone yet... or maybe something else. ::shrug::

Nice pearl 4 blade senator, likely one of the most expensive Camillus knives in it's day.

This shorter underline of the name is said to be 1946-1950. It is the same as my new electricians knife. I have been doing a lot of reading, lately.

I am hoping that someone who has been reading more than a couple days would know if this pic is accurate as to date
CCAMMY 46.JPG
. I have seen the catalogs and my Electricians knife is described, in the same way from the mid 40's till late 50's, when I looked, but the pic narrows it down
