These ones all belong in the favourite category. The 48 in particular has some of the finest stag I have. Bear Lake, Bear Lake, Fremont, Fremont, Hawthorne.

Fixed that. I would love to add more KSF stag to the pile. Forrest, Bullet and Burnside I covet. Thanks for all the comments, I'm just the caretaker of these currently, huge thanks to GEC, KSF andof course Dave Shirley for starting NORTHWOODS. There is a great interview on the KSF blog with Mr. Shirley about NW. Here is a link:

Wow Robobus, killing me, who wouldn't love to own that line up? Love a good Northwoods and when they are sporting great stag like those, well then it's a thing to behold. Those are A+ grade antlers man. Congrats. Love the Freemonts and the Bear Lake. Sweet.

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
Here's another one of my favorite GEC knives...#61 in American Elk...that will probably be going on the eBay auction block next Sunday. So, all you GEC fanatics might want to take notice (my auctions always start at $9.99 with no reserve).
Another favorite is this American Elk Wharncliffe #72 (which is currently listed on my eBay site).
Question is: how many GECs will I have to sell in order to pay for my new solar water heater?

Q, i'm going for the elk 61, likely along with 27 other AAPK'ers. It is a great pattern and the elk antler has a mammoth look to it. Deep pockets are gunna be needed. What a smart looking knife.

Hmmm. Good question, you must be very pragmatic to consider selling these beauties for utilities. hawaiienergy.com says with rebates it will take 2k to purchase. I think these will sell in the $3-500 range, possibly more as they just do not come up for sale. My answer is 5 stainless elk GEC.

Interestingly, that's exactly the number (5) I have dedicated, i.e., committed to sacrifice, for this project....but I can see I'm already being optimistic in that regard. My #48 just sold for $250...which is a nice start and I ain't complainin'....now, if only I had ten more just like it.

Re: Show off your favorite GECs!
I don't know if this is your style or not but for your 3rd, may I suggest a #48 Improved Trapper. Last I looked there were still a few floating around out there. Can you tell it's one of my favorites?

One of the all time favorites, '13 smooth ivory bone 85 Bullet End EZ open out for oil change, clean, wax, buff, snap a few shots, carry around, maybe switch it in to blade of the day. Bought it years ago from Volcano/Hurricane Q who gave me a great deal and great knife and great memory, hope you're riding out the storm safe and sound and thanks again for the sweeeeeeet knife.
