how it's made - steel cable blade part 3

Post by hellize »

Hello again from Transylvania!

I present you guys the third and final part of my mini series, consisting of 3 clips in total, demonstrating how I forge a knife blade from A to Z, using steel cable and leaf spring.
Feel free to like, comment and subscribe if you enjoyed it. It would help me beat my inner sloth and make more of these.

In case you missed the first and second part, you can check them out here ;)

Great job! I have to say I was cringing a bit when you were free hand grinding the choil with the wheel o' death. After putting in all the work on forging the damascus, I am not sure I would be brave enough to do that.

:) Yeah, I know it seems stupid and reckless, but that is also just a tool, like a hammer or a screwdriver. It is harmless if you know what you are doing and it is lethal if you don't.

Well, actually, I was more worried about the knife than your body... ::tounge:: I'm pretty sure that if I tried to do that, I would slip and cut off the entire handle! ::facepalm::
