unknown double blade automatic

Post by TxBigfoot »

My brother in law was a USAF RF4 pilot who carried this knife in Nam. I dont know what it is or its origin and I am looking for help in identification. If this is the wrong field, please move it or let me know to repost. It says presto on the bottom and Freemont on the blade? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I think that should be a Presto Knife by the George Schrade Knife Co out of Bridgeport, Ct. Not sure where the Fremont comes in though, are you sure that's what it says?

Ah, now I get it, thanks Dimitri! I thought it was on the tang. I knew Clauss was out in Fremont and that was really throwing me off.
