Where can I pre-order a #46 Whaler?

GEC specializes in highly collectable and premium quality usable pocket knives. The company's USA manufactured knives have quickly proven to be a big hit with both collectors and users who seek quality American craftsmanship.

i have been asking the same thing. What do you think could be going on ? Received a batch, found an 'issue' with some and returned batch for 'tune up' ?
Or ??
Split shipments from GEC. CK warned reserves about the spacing of the shipments when they announced it was time to pay.

I suspect I'm going to have to give up on using KSF as a dealer since they announce so early and I can't usually drag myself away from work even if I do happen to see an email from them when it comes in.

Oh well, no IW whaler for me. I'll just hold on to my MB whaler extra tight.

Tony there's one on Ebay right now at a paltry bid of only $195. Seriously though I think there are more to come from some of these other dealers. Where is Barry on these ? I haven't seen any in his store.

"Where is Barry on these ?"
Barry (gunstock jack) had a reservation system for the whalers and sold out over a month ago.

Aha! I guess he just takes it down when reservations are full. I never saw any mention of it.

Greg, he had the reservations up and marked as "Sold Out" for quite awhile. Must have taken it down recently.

LSS152 You just wait till you try to get in on a Northwoods release. Talk about leaving you discombobulated and dizzy. You won't believe it. ::cb::

I know i keep harping on it, but, Where are the Muscle Bone Whalers ? GEC finished these and shipped them out over one week ago, maybe even 2 weeks. However very few have shown up on dealer sites. For example: KSF is one of the 2 largest GEC dealers yet they have not posted any MB Whalers. Only 2 or 3 dealers, have posted the MB Whalers and being smaller GEC dealers they had only a few.
So, where are the Muscle Bone Whalers and why are they not being listed for sale ?
It is a mystery; what is going on ?

And now available at KSF.

Edit: i am about 10 posts late with this announcement.
So many dealers put the MB Whalers up for sale at the exact same time, there must have been collusion, maybe to help thwart flippers.

It will be interesting to see how long they last today. I also wonder what the production numbers were.
