Hercules Inox GELODUR BOOT KNIFE gaucha

Post by HILL_BILLY »

Howdy, I need some help on the Gaucho I have. It is in the original box and has the tag it came with. There is a note in it also. It says '' Nelo bought this in 1965. The tag has A FACA Gaucha on the first page. There are six more with info on them. I can not read it because it is Brazil. see pix
If anyone can read Brazil please help me.
Thank you H B

In Brazil they speak Portuguese. I'm not sure we have anyone here who has that language skill. If we do, maybe they'll stop in and help.

There was a post in one of the forums addressing this particular type of knife but I cannot find it at the moment. It was either in the Fixed Blade forum or the European Knives forum if I recall correctly.
These knives come in several different sizes and are named accordingly. They vary greatly in quality. Here is a picture of some that I own. The smaller ones I bought listed as letter openers and all have their original boxes.
