Buck 110 5160 Tang stamp

Post by TigerWolf_Rosebud »

I received my 110 clip point in 5160 yesterday. I was noticing that these do not have the typical Tang stamp that identifies the year produced. All it has is the Anvil. Anybody know the story on this?

The anvil is the Buck custom shop logo, 5160 blades are special runs, so must have come from the custom shop. Buck is similar to the old Schrade USA; no absolutes and an exception to every rule! The 5160 knives were made for Copper & Clad - they'll have info for you if you call or write. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark
