Who's into S & M?
Re: Who's into S & M?
I can't seem to get enough of the S&M #99 Executive Jack; probably my #1 all-time favorite Queen pattern.

~Q~ you're knocking it out of the park with all those fine Schatts!
I though I had posted a few knives in this thread but I did a search and I think I've only posted one. Here are a few more.

Re: Who's into S & M?
Thanks Phil. I want to carry it so badly but it's just a little too big and heavy. A very well built knife though.

Great knives guys, great knives.
OK. I know the knives below are not S&M stamped. They're Queen City but most likely made from S&M patterns.
BTW......Risner has some really nice S&M's on sale. Check it out if you have some disposable income.

These last 2 pages of this thread are showing some outstanding knives fellas, some of the prettiest Queen & S&M knives I've seen. Thanks for sharing the pics Railsplitter, Farside, QT Cut5 and Bdev.

Re: Who's into S & M?
I sold off most of my S&M's but saw this one on Risners sight at a great price so I ordered it. Not sorry at all.

This Schatt & Morgan Factory Sample (1 of 1) Wharncliffe #22 Smooth Red Bone Small Coke Bottle set me back $110; but, just look at it...how was I supposed to resist such a rare beauty? (As is often the case, money was just a temporary obstacle, not a permanent impediment.)

Re: Who's into S & M?
sigh....I thought I was slowing down, had what I wanted, yadda, yadda....but, I NEED something with a Wharncliffe. Love the look of that blade profile, does it perform to par, i.e, cutting/ slicing/ stabbing, whittling/ carving, hold an edge, etc. ?
Re: Who's into S & M?
Risner has a good selection of Queen knives with Wharncliffe blades. Check it out their Sway back selection....SteelMyHeart85420 wrote: sigh....I thought I was slowing down, had what I wanted, yadda, yadda....but, I NEED something with a Wharncliffe. I like it! I've had an interest in the Lightning Strike Wood ever since they released them. Just haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. Good looking knife!bigbore wrote:Granddaddy Barlow Lightning strike wood

Re: Who's into S & M?
Do you know how the wood is made to look burnt & fissured ? Are there actually fissures in the surface (like crevasse in a glacier) ?
