Gonna finish this frosty and cold weekend with the same two I carried yesterday. Layering on the wool before I leave the house in a few.

Thanks John. Well..., the knife slips are my poor attempts at leather craft, the snakeskin faced one was made less than a week ago and the skin is already starting to peel away from the leather. I don't imagine a pro leather worker would have used contact cement like I did to attach the skin. :D
You got me thinking about the key fob and I came to the realization that I've had it for over 20 years. Two things about that I find amazing is that I haven't lost my keys in 20 years and that I can remember when I bought it so many years ago. :D Since you and I are the same age I'm sure you understand what I'm getting at, its a time where a man starts losing and forgetting things.

Greg it is a Bark River Knives Essential. The blade is M4 steel. Handle covers are G10 Coyote Brown. More info here. Ive had this one since 2011. The blade is a bit smaller as it has been reground. I dropped it last spring and it took a bad bounce into a rock and broke a very small piece of the tip off. It has a convex edge and I wasnt comfortable reprofiling it myself. Sent it into BRK and they reground it for me for free. It wasnt they're fault I dropped the knife and broke the tip but they said they would regrind it for for free and they did. It is handy has been a very good knife for me.

Good on BRK for taking good care of a customer David. I like the looks of the knife so had to find out more is why I asked about it. It just has the look of a smaller knife that is ready to take on some big task with ease. Good choice for an EDC. ::tu::
