Tidioute Brand????

Post by bkazz5 »

I found this one today. Trying to determine what brand it is. On the main blade tang stamp all I can make out is Cutlery Co. On the small blade stamp is Tidioute PA. Could be Union Cutlery Co or could be Tidioute Cutlery Co. Were there others based in Tidioute?

Baldwin Cut Co and Pennsylvania Knife co were also in Tidioute, both after Union Cut Co.

Thanks for the info. Maybe a Baldwin. Looks like an N over the Y in CUTLERY on the main blade tang stamp. Thanks - Bryan
