Need help finding knife

Post by BoeM »

Hey guys. Im getting married soon and im looking to get some edc/pocket knives for my friends in my wedding/bachelor party. I am looking for something with wood handles as i think it gives off more of a classic and classy look. Also want it to be able to engrave it either on the handle or the blade so i can put their names on it. Would like to keep the price of the knife around $50 or less. I have done a fair amount of searching on my own but cant find the right knife. The opinel knifes are nice but i dont like the manual locking mechanism. Also didnt like buck because i want a full wooden handle. Any other suggestions from you guys?

1. Wood handle edc/pocket knife
2. can engrave handle or blade
3. Price around $50 or less

Any help would be great!

The $50 or less constraint is going to be tough - along with all the other requirements.

These Case Copperlocks are synthetic handles, but are less than $50. They are locking knives. There are 2 different sizes.

The prices on the next link are well outside the range, but you might get some ideas.

This might work. You'll need to contact them to see if they can engrave them and if so what it would cost. http://www.casexx.com/Details/?ProductC ... &Patid=221

Like Jerry says, for $50 with wood handles including engraving that's a tough order to fill.

Check out the Buck Graduate 328. I think it has the classy look you're after.

Try SARCO in Florence, Alabama.

Their Tri-Edge knives make good groomsmen's gifts, but I don't think they are available with wood.

They probably have other choices.

Jace Sargent can do pretty much anything you want.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by a "full" wooden handle?

Sounds like your looking for a Schrade Uncle Henry Smokey LB5.

It's not too big, not too little, and has wood scales. Although I am avid Uncle Henry collector I wouldn't buy em since all the new ones are china made. It's a principle thing for me, but that may not be a limitation for someone else. I actually have one that came with a group of knives I purchased, and I can say it at leas looks like quality stuff.
