A $10,000 Camillus Fixed Blade???

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

A $10,000 Camillus Fixed Blade???

I don't know much about Camillus knives, but this seems insane, no?

I think it funny that if you spend the $10,000 you get free economy shipping. I think if I laid out that kind of money economy shipping would not be my choice.

That is not the only thing that is "funny" about this. LOL!

I think someone got the decimal two places too far to the right. ::uc::
Here is a new one that sold recently for $80: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rare-C ... 7675.l2557

I think the seller is about $9,900 above what he could reasonably expect to get for that knife.

Dang it Joe, ya missed the harrumph of disgust that goes along with the picture intended for posterity. I do think it's about time posterity started posting his own pictures.

I suspect that if Camillus had been able to get that kind of money per knife, they would still be in business...

I toyed with the idea of making an offer of $25, but I was afraid it might be accepted.

It's listed in this category Consumer Electronics>Gadgets & Other Electronics>Other Gadgets so could be it's really a computer or new tech phone as well as a knife. You know the kind that 007 might carry. Let's ask Q if he knows anything about this.

I just messaged the seller asking if that was the correct asking price... ::uc::

reply was "No, need to Correct. What should be the price" ::dang::

I suggested ask $50 with best offer and see what happens. ::hmm::

oh, and to also move the listing to the appropriate category ::facepalm::

That whole thing is so bizarre that it defies belief. Maybe they are hoping some one will click on the wrong thing and "accidentally "buy it and "accidentally" click on Paypal and "accidentally" have that much money in their account. Or maybe the Sultan of Brunai (worlds richest man) is actually in the market for something like this.
