Can you ID this Case for me? Is it Fake?

Post by mytwobobos »

Hi Fellas, I got this here folder in a case lot I purchased a couple of months back. Never seen one like it.
Also, I thought that the second number in the Id number represents the number of blades? So that doesn't jive.
Am I correct about that second # thing? Anyhow, was hoping you guys could help me out.
Thanks much

Yes on a Case the second number in the pattern is the number of blades. See https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... ng-system/

You're gonna need to post some pictures of your knife if you want more info. Need to see it to tell you much about it.

::woot:: I don't know what all is going on with that one but it's about as goofy as anything I've ever seen. ::cb:: Somebody must've been drunk when they did that!

Looks like they put the blade from a 47 pattern stockman in the frame and couldn't access the nick so they ground down the handles and frame to access it.. ::dang::

That big pin sticking out of the bolster tells me someone did some work on that little guy. It sure didn't leave the factory like that.

The blade might've started off from Case, but that's about it. But hey, how's the walk/talk? Might be handy.
