I was fortunate enough to sneak up on this one. Boker first started making their Canoe pattern (200) in 1978. It had Rosewood handles.
They had made a jack knife back in the 1920s that had a similar handle shape but it was more of a jack knife than a canoe (the blades were both on the same end).
This one is one of the first canoe pattern knives made by Boker. The original sales letter and catalog page insert came in the original box with the knife!

Great find rangerbluedog. Having the original box, the sales receipt and the catalog page along with the knife sure adds to the collection. Its a good looking knife as well and appears to be in excellent condition, a keeper for sure.

Great find Blue. I had no idea Boker had not made a canoe until 1978.
Seems like I frequently learn from your posts.
I sure wish someone would write a book on Boker so I could be better informed.

I like Boker canoes and have a couple. BUT their pen blade is kinda wimpy; I prefer the bigger pen blade on the Case canoe.
