Antique Case Doctors Knife

I think I have found a scarce pattern due to the fact that I haven’t seen another doctors knife this size (3 1/4”). Most doctors knives that I’ve seen (85 pattern) are 3 5/8” long. There is also an 82 pattern at 2 3/4” long. What I think I have is a Tested 81 pattern that is listed (no pics) in Sargent 7th edition. It’s the only reference I can find regarding a doctors knife this particular size. Sargents has it listed at 3 1/8”...mine looks closer to 3 1/4” long. My question, is this knife more common than I’m leading myself to believe...or have I hit the flea market jackpot? I’m sincerely hoping it’s the latter!

Hi Perry; you have a 62086. I have the same knife in stag, 52086. 3-1/4" closed. The 6282 is the tiny one at 2-3/4" closed.
