Kj that's something I would like to know as well. Since D. Bohn owns the name would it be safe too assume that KSF is the only outlet where they are available? He has sent emails announcing new GEC's. Perhaps he does the same for new Northwoods folders. ::shrug::

Greg you can send a message to KSF asking to be on the Northwoods notification list. It might be if you are on a list for new GEC at KSF then you also get Northwoods notification ?
I was on their list but somehow got dropped so had to ask to be re-instated. This could have happened to others so if these new releases are very important to you , you might want to check.

Beautiful yellow rose's Geccut, I 'm regretting not getting them when I had the chance.

Received the 81 Appaloosa today, initial impressions are GEC just keeps getting better and better, nothing I dislike about this knife, nicely matched scales, sharp centered blades, good pulls and snap that will improve with some oil, quality all around.

GEC crushed it on the Appaloosa Bull Moose. ::ds:: ::groove::

I've got mine paired with a Case Appy Barlow today. I'll post photos once the sun decides to peek out today. This one might be too pretty to put up.

I looked at a bunch of them and the Stag is not 'fat'. They look well hafted with the handle thickness being a good match to size of knife.
I was hoping to find one with the surface texture going right up to the bolsters. All have been shaved down from the outside surface such that a white section of antler abuts the bolsters.
I'm glad i am fussy about this because i really should not be spending about $200 CAN on yet another knife.

To make a long story short. Finally decided on the the jig bone. I've had the Moose for a little over a week. Overall I'm pleased with it. :)

I think the jigged bone on this Moose looks good. It suits the knife. I bet after six months of riding in a pocket plus getting some use will give a bit of a warm shine to the bone and it will look even better, almost vintage.

Sweet looking 78 Bomba, I'm waiting for the single blade version, supposed to be out this week in the color I want. Nice one.

The single blade 78 with white bone has been at dealers for a few days. I bought one on ebay (GEC dealer, not flipper) Dec 17 and tracking shows will be delivered in another 1-2 days. Paid $80, which included shipping. Not a dealer/seller i have bought from before but his FB is all good and this price seemed too good to pass up.

Got the GEC 78 a few days ago. Much better pull on this knife than some of the the other recent releases.

I opted for the single blade version. I purchased two because one of them is going to be altered according to a devious modification scheme I hatched in my twisted brain. I was surprised at how different the bone is between them...thought it would be nearly identical or more uniform, but clearly it's not.

Bottom one came from The Knife Connection: $79.95 (free shipping)

Seems like the smooth white bone 78 is very popular. My two blade edition is currently "in the mail". USPS says Tuesday but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday. Alright baby, come to papa.
