Adam, seems every time I turn around I'm seeing something different Remington put out. The grape fruit knife cost me $4, it's nice that these little odd pieces don't break the bank.

Re: Remington stuff (except knives)
Keith this is what I have learned... when I participate heavily in the forum and play with my collection in taking pictures for a “ look see”. I become overwhelmed with the urge to expand my collection even further to my wife’s dismay because she is worried I will spread into another room LOL! So I have to take these sabbaticals to look for the more rare and unique Remington items that requires sometimes more than pocket lent and a few coins. Still watching and really enjoying the Remington show from you and the boys.

Here are a couple of old postcards showing the Remington Arms Company, Ilion, NY. The first is postmarked 1917 the second 1908.

That's a cool box Doug, do you think coasters could belong in it? I like it.rexstubbins wrote:guess I should have posted this in this topic...

I picked up this display case. The guy thought it was for ammunition but I'm not so sure. It's for bullet knives now. I'll but a green felt over the foam to make it look better.

I don't know but it's exactly the same as the bigger, 3 row display that I think you have if I remember right.ScoutKnives wrote:Awesome Keith , what kind of wood is it made of ?

The good thing about those cases is they're stackable.peanut740 wrote:Very nice Keith.Keep it up your going to need a bigger room.

I still have lots of counter top space in the kitchen. It's not a problem.

I would be interested to see the expression on Mrs. Espensons face when one of those collector boxes replaces that Kitchenaid mixer!
