Can anyone provide any information about this fingernail knife? Approximate age?

I can make out what appears to be Engels & Die with Germany underneath. The locking device as Germany on it. And there are these letters on the scissors: D.B.P.

It looks like one of the many styles of manicure knives made in Maniago Italy. Latama was a big supplier of these and this one may have been a contract knife by them.

I don't know nothing but I don't think Germany on the knife means much anymore, Solinger Germany "MAY" mean it's made in Germany. Several of the old high end knives are now made in other countries, some Hen and Rooster being one brand.

F.W. Engles Solingen-Germany=1909-1943/////c.w. engles=1909 to 1943--I don't have one exactly like this but bought many german all metal lobster type knives last 2 years on flea bay for 10 to 15 dollars including shipping--many high quality and cost more originally than most patterns...henckels-schlepper-ect..
