Can anyone tell me more about this knife I've been searching everywhere for information on it but i cannot seem to find anything on it any bit of info is helpful thank you.

Just guessing... But I think you may be looking for a Ka-Bar Grizzly. If so, here is a thread:

The antique Ka-Bar Grizzlies are highly collectible - wish I had one.

And on both sides of the handle it has Remington marked on it. It is difficult to see in the pictures.
